ALL STUDENTS:
Please thoroughly read through all class descriptions and prerequisites to be sure of what level you should register for and what you will need.
All students, new and returning, should read Class Policies & Guidelines, you are required to bring this document to class.
The following Syllabi contain course content, prerequisites and material requirements, please read both the level you are attending and the previous levels.
VEIL REQUIREMENTS:
All Levels 2 and 3/4 students should bring one. For students 5'7" and under, 2.5 metres of bridal or other light-weight chiffon. For taller students, your veil should be 2.8-3 m long. Petite students may want a veil 2.3-2.5 m--BUT SHOULD BE FITTED IN CLASS FIRST. Level 3/4 students should also have 1 silk veil in any colour and either rectangular or semi-circular.
I bring modestly priced veils to class for you to buy, or you can make your own.
FINGER CYMBALS REQUIREMENTS:
All continuing Level , Levels 2 and 3/4, plus performance and mixed level classe should have one set of Saroyan or Turquoise brand zills (any style--see "Links"). I sell these each session at a very reasonable price. Saramaga and Au Set both carry them as well. PLEASE, do not buy so-called "student" zills as they are inferior in tone and quality.
CANE REQUIREMENTS:
All Level 3/4, performance, and mixed-level students need to buy one gold or silver cane with a crook from a reputable dealer. See "Links". I may do a group order if there is sufficient demand.
