Sahra Saeeda returns to Winnipeg

Sahra’s unique abilities to explain, demonstrate, and truly teach how to dance Egyptian-style as the Egyptians do is remarkable. Lovely, learned, and gracious, she is world-renowned as both a performer and teacher, and has won numerous performance, choreographic, and teaching awards and accolades. Sahra enjoys true respect from her fellow master-level dancers and is one of the most beloved teachers in the world. Come learn with the one of The Best!

Sahra will be teaching both Egyptian folkloric and raks sharqi (bellydance) techniques.
Specific topics will be decided soon!

-geared for intermediates but enthusiastic beginners are welcome and encouraged
-please wear a noiseless hip scarf in good repair

Ranya Renee
“Mega-Weekend”: Teacher Training and Workshops

Ranya will be teaching a 13 hr Teacher Training Certification, as well as two Master Level Classes and one Open Level Class. The entire 23 hours covers topics ranging from technique to performance skills to Arabic music to stylization (old school/new school) and expression and tons more. Teacher Training is open to anyone serious about studying Middle Eastern Music and Dance (not just teachers). Certificate of completion provided to all participants. Saturday Night Gala show Performance spots guaranteed for teacher training participants; performance feedback from Ranya is part of the training curriculum.

Workshops are limited to 20 participants. Saturday workshops are Open level. Thursday night Master Class is "Old School/New School" (see website for details) and open to all experienced dancers. Payment plans are available for Training and full weekend packages.
