We loved her so much; she’s back by popular demand!

Sahra Saeeda Kent

World-renowned dancer, teacher, choreographer, and
dance ethnographer

April 13-15, 2012

Ms. Kent's superb dancing, her in-depth teaching techniques and her wide knowledge of dance have earned her the respect of dancers and ethnographers worldwide. She has spent many years working and researching in Egypt and is generous with sharing her knowledge with fellow dancers, enthusiasts, educators, anthropologists and historians. Her courses have been presented in variety of settings, from universities to dance studios. Sahra's methods bestow appreciation and understanding of Egyptian dance, as well as authentic techniques. Come learn with the one of the best! Spaces are limited!

All interested participants are welcome.

You do not want to miss the lovely Sahra Saeeda!!

Sahra Saeeda is one of few American dancers I would go out of my way to attend a workshop with. She is one of the best instructors I have had the pleasure of learning from and I have been to over 30 workshops with top instructors. She is at the top of my list!

I have attended two workshops with Sahra previously; I travelled to Regina in 2000 and then Calgary in 2007. Both workshops were well worth it. I am so pleased that Nicola and Spice Road Bellydance have decided to bring Sahra Saeeda to Winnipeg!! Especially for her new, ”Journey through Egypt” series of courses. This saves me (as well as others) so much money and time by not having to travel outside the city and taking time off work to attend.

I hope many of you (especially performers and instructors), will help support these workshops and/or the show. The more successful these events are, the better our chances of sponsors continuing to bring in “A-List” dancers into our city for the benefit of our local dance community. There are very few events like this here. A serious dancer wants to learn from the best! Please show your support by attending.
