~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of my full sets (15 - 20 minutes) usually includes use of veil and may include finger cymbals or sword, depending on the venue. Music and dance from beginning to end will vary in tempos, rhythms, and moods.
I pride myself on my ability to make everyone feel included and relaxed. My shows are tasteful and enjoyable for all. I will generally get folks up to dance with me during the set and will take requests from hosts/organizers about who would and would not like to be pulled up. For birthdays and weddings, I include special focus on the person(s) being honoured.
Costuming can include the classic bra, belt and skirt (bedlah), beledi dress, or folk styles. I generally pick based on the kind of venue, performance and audience.
